She also received the President’s Award by the Barry University PA program in recognition of outstanding community service, academic, and clinical achievement.
Born in Havana, Cuba, Cari came to the US when she was eleven years old and grew up in South Florida. She is married and has two dogs named Daisy and Tyson. She loves to spend time with her family and enjoys traveling and gardening. She is a cancer survivor, which led to her decision to become a Physician Assistant. She loves educating her patients and enjoys establishing long-standing clinician/patient relationships with them.
Cari is board-certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
